Ritual Box
"The punamhan is a ritual box that is used in various ceremonies, officiated by the mumbaki or shaman. The most common form of these boxes are adorned with stylized pig or animal heads or bulul figures on the ends, and are associated with the rice harvest ritual. The plain pumam-gan was referred to by Barton as a "war chest" and is associated with rituals connected to sorcery and vengeance."- Floy Quintos, Provenance: Ramon Tapales p. 31.
